This last week saw even more announcements from the UK Government about easing some of the restrictions that we’ve all been living under for a long time. With these new freedoms allowed, are we back to normal?
Whilst we’ve been able to have our hair cut since 4th July, we’ve been long awaiting the rest of our beauty spots to open up again. But now they’re open and we’re afforded the same facial access that beards have had for the last month and 11 days.
LIVE SPORTS
Starting with the snooker, spectator sports are on the way back too! Although we are enjoying watching the NBA in their Disneyland bubble, the fact that the fans can begin to return feels like we’re getting back to normal.
THE PERFORMING ARTS
Even though (a few of) our cinemas have been open since July 4th; Theatres have only just got the go-ahead. With the music, performing and visual arts sector in the UK is worth an estimated £5.4 billion a year; we’re glad to see this hugely important industry reopening again!
WEDDINGS
The number of weddings postponed or cancelled due to Covid must be in the thousands. With over 152 days since we were all told to stay home – the odds are we have all missed a fair few big events. Luckily for those who managed to book their wedding towards the end of the year – the rules have changed to allow you up to 30 guests for a sit down dinner. Now it’s just a case of shaving down the guest list!
And that feels like we’re only really waiting on clubs and large scale events to be given the green light. And with everyone wanting to get back to normal as soon as possible we can only hope to hear more news on this soon. So if we’re back to normal then now is the time to get out there. Not sure what to do? Buy a Tailored and Made day and get out there!
